At its Zenith, the Mughal Empire commanded resources unprecedented in Indian history and covered almost the entire sub-continent. From 1526, when Babur, the descendant of both the Turkish conqueror Timur and the Mongol conqueror Genghis Khan invaded India, till the last great Mughal Aurangzeb who ruled up to 1707. The Mughal Empire was built upon their military might and superior administrative skills. They were great warriors who used their swords to win many a decisive battle. To help recreate the splendor and romance of the bygone Mughal era, when everything from the Taj Mahal to the swords they wielded was an art form, we offer this exquisite piece with a damascus bladed scimitar type blade and a metal hilt as a tribute to the mighty Mughal empire.
Blade & grip can be seen in "Indian Arms & Armour" by Dr. G. N. Pant. Out of stock item.
