The Model 1880 Hunting knife was issued to the Cavalry, Infantry,and Artillery forces during the Indian and Spanish-American Wars. The first production of this knife has an iron guard. Springfield Armoury made only 1,002 of these knives during 1881. Our replica has a tempered carbon steel blade and wooden grip.
